The parts of a business
that hold everything else up.

Five areas of work, in the order most owners need them. We start wherever the pressure is greatest — the entity, the daily grind, the books, or the next stage.

01

Choosing and setting up the right entity

Sole proprietor, LLC, or corporation — what each one actually means for your taxes, your risk, and your paperwork, and the order to do the setup in so nothing has to be redone.

  • Entity choice explained in plain language
  • Registration and filing order
  • Bank account, licenses and permits
  • What to keep, and where to keep it
02

Organizing the day-to-day

Who does what, when it gets done, and what happens when you are not in the room. We map the work as it really happens, then write it down so it can be repeated.

  • A map of how work moves through the business
  • Roles and responsibilities, written down
  • A weekly rhythm for the tasks that get missed
  • Simple ways to hand work off
03

Systems and record keeping

Receipts, invoices, and a bookkeeping routine you will actually keep up with after the first busy month — set up around the way you already work.

  • A bookkeeping routine that fits your week
  • Invoicing and payment tracking
  • Receipt and document filing
  • A short list of what to review every month
04

Planning for growth

What needs to be solid before you add staff, space, or a second location — and what can honestly wait until later.

  • What to fix before you grow
  • Costs and capacity to plan around
  • Hiring and training foundations
  • A written plan with dates on it
05

A steady second set of eyes

Ongoing check-ins for owners who want someone to look at the numbers and the operations with them, month after month.

  • Regular working sessions
  • Reviews of the numbers you track
  • Someone to ask before a big decision
  • Adjustments as the business changes

How we work
together

Every engagement starts the same way: a conversation, then an honest read of what you have.

  1. Step 01

    A first conversation

Fifteen minutes on the phone or in person. Tell me what the business looks like today — no paperwork needed, no pitch.

  2. Step 02

    A plain-language look

I go through what you have: the entity, the books, the records, the way work moves. Then I tell you what is solid and what needs attention, in words that make sense.

  3. Step 03

    The work, in order

We fix what is costing you the most first. You do the parts only you can do — the decisions and the signatures — and I do the rest beside you.

  4. Step 04

    A plan you can run

You leave with a written set of next steps in plain English, with dates on them, and a way to reach me when something changes.

Not sure which of these you need?

That is the usual answer. Tell me where things stand on the contact form and I will point at the one that matters first.
